Contaminated Industrial Facility
Industrial Facility South Texas Whitehead Environmental Services is assisting local environmental attorney with the evaluation of a VCP case in south Texas. The Site is contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and metals. Since PCBs are present, this project involves the TCEQ and U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). WES is working with the Client on the Phase II, VCP case (soil remediation and VCP reports), and management of the project.
Contaminates Found in Soil from Metals
Local Texas Bank Whitehead E. S. conducted a Phase I ESA of this manufacturing plant in central Texas. The Phase I ESA identified issues related to soil impacts from cutting oil and metal shavings (waste material in roll-off container). The Phase II sampling identified petroleum hydrocarbons, arsenic, and lead in the soil. WES conducted off-Site sampling to develop site-specific background concentrations for selected metals that allowed for higher cleanup levels in the remediation of compacted
Municipal Setting Designation for Contaminated Retail Site
Texas Real Estate Developer WES conducted a Phase II ESA sampling at this retail center in central Texas. The Site was impacted with metals in the soil and dry cleaning related compounds such as tetrachloroethene (“perc”) in the groundwater.
